Two men were airlifted to Jackson after the small aircraft they were flying crashed in a field in Leflore County Saturday evening.
Grady Perkins Jr. and Matt Weldon were flying a two-seat, single-engine aircraft when it crashed into a cornfield approximately three miles west of Greenwood toward Itta Bena around 7 p.m.
