MERIDIAN — “Simply put, the federal government is broke,” Mississippi Congressman Gregg Harper said recently. He echoed his mentor, Speaker of the House John Boehner, who said, “We’re broke; broke going on bankrupt.”
Sounds terrible. But is it accurate? Well, not exactly.
