Hoop fan ejection lands PA on probation

Pillow Academy has landed on probation by the MAIS for a one-year period after a fan was ejected from Saturday’s girls basketball game at Central Hinds.

In a release from the school, it’s due to unsportsmanlike conduct of a unidentified fan.

The Greenwood Commonwealth expanded its newsroom in 2025 by adding Gerard Edic as a reporter covering public safety and other stories of interest to the community.
