Spring is shaping up to be a fine time for Mississippi Valley State athletics, because both the baseball and softball teams are off to impressive starts.
Coming off a four-game sweep of Alcorn State over the weekend, the MVSU women's softball team is 15-10 overall, 12-0 in the Southwestern Athletic Conference.
