It's time to button up those chin straps and break out the pigskins.
Greenwood's six area high schools start football practice this week. Greenwood, Leflore County and J.Z. George will crank things up Monday afternoon, while Pillow Academy, Carroll Academy and Amanda Elzy will hit the field Tuesday.
