Greenwood's Matt Malouf, a former quarterback at the University of Memphis, signed a scholarship to play football with Samford Friday.
Citing personal reasons, Malouf announced his departure from Memphis last month after playing in 12 of the Tigers' 13 games in 2007 as a redshirt freshman.
