Ole Miss and Mississippi State both had chances to keep their seasons alive Friday at the Southeastern Conference Tournament, but neither team made the plays down the stretch in the quarterfinal round.
Ole Miss fell 75-66 to Kentucky, while MSU lost 87-81 to Vanderbilt in Atlanta at the Georgia Dome.
