The Bulldogs (49-13), the No. 6 national seed (49-13), are playing in their fourth straight super regional this weekend, hosting No. 11 seed Stanford (45-12) starting at 2 p.m. Saturday on ESPN2 at Dudy Noble Field.

Thomas Dillard homered on the first pitch of the game, and that was the quick started Ole Miss needed.

The Ole Miss junior and Greenwood native later hit a grand slam as the Rebels again overwhelmed Jacksonville State, winning 19-4 on Sunday night to advance to an NCAA Super Regional for the sixth time.

Ole Miss and Jacksonville State play Friday at 7 p.m. in the first round of the double-elimination tournament. Clemson and Illinois open the regional at 3.
