Mississippi Valley State held off an incredible late run by Alcorn State by taking care of business at the foul line.
MVSU was 6 for 6 at the line in the final 46 seconds to turn back the Braves, who trailed by 20 with 4:10 to play, to escape with an 80-75 victory Saturday night in Itta Bena.
