What looked like it might be a blowout win for Mississippi Valley State turned into a heartbreaking loss instead.
Valley led by as many as 20 points early in the second, but instate rival Alcorn State managed to walk away with a 93-87 win in triple overtime Saturday at the Leflore County Civic Center.
