Bad things seem to follow Chad Kelly.

What was supposed to be a step forward for Kelly Monday at Ole Miss’ pro day turned out to be another step backward.

Kelly aggravated a wrist injury several throws into what was already going to be an abbreviated pro-day throwing session due to his rehabilitation from a knee injury.

Baylor had six McDonald’s All-Americans. Mississippi State had players who had eaten at McDonalds.

Baylor was supposed to have a huge talent advantage over the Lady Bulldogs, but MSU found a way to reach its first-ever Final Four.

Raiders pull off sweep of PA

Jackson Academy took a doubleheader at Pillow Academy Wednesday to sweep the three-game North AAAA series.

The Mustangs (11-5) missed out on several chances to win the first game before losing 3-1 in nine innings. It was all downhill after that, though, for Pillow, which lost 12-7 in the nightcap.
