The NCAA has charged Ole Miss with lack of institutional control and failure to monitor by head coach Hugh Freeze, along with allegations of a $10,000 cash payment to a recruit.

Riley Self grew up wanting to be a Bulldog.

He got his wish when he signed with Mississippi State two years ago, and the Greenwood native is making the most of the opportunity in his first year in Starkville.

Self, a former Magnolia Heights standout out of Coldwater, came to Mississippi State to compete for championships.
