The 6-foot-8, 345-pound senior is the first player from Leflore County to ever receive this honor.

In a civil lawsuit filed on Wednesday, former Ole Miss coach Houston Nutt, left, accuses current Rebel coach Hugh Freeze, right, of falsely stating that most, if not all, of the NCAA’s allegations involved Nutt and his staff. The complaint also goes on to say Freeze made the statements fully aware that they were patently false.

Ex-coach files civil suit vs. Ole Miss

Now the second lawsuit related to Ole Miss’ fight against the NCAA has been filed.

Former Rebel head coach Houston Nutt filed a civil lawsuit against the university and its athletics foundation, alleging a breach of his contract because of false statements he says school officials made during an ongoing NCAA investigation.
