I am pretty darn sure I watched every snap of Mississippi State’s win over then-No. 12 LSU.

This was no upset; it was a beat down.

Heck, MSU quarterback Nick Fitzgerald had just four fewer total yards (266) than the entire Tiger offense had as the Bulldogs rolled to a 37-7 victory.

Greenwood High School’s Kwatrivous Johnson, better known as “Dolla Bill”, received his Under Armour All-America game jersey this past week. With Johnson are GHS head coach Clinton Gatewood, center, and offensive line coach Brandon Davis. The All-America game is slated for Jan. 4, 2018, in Orlando, Florida, and will be televised on ESPN. The Bulldogs play at home Friday night against Louisville High School.

After a pair of warmup games, Mississippi State will find out what it is really made of Saturday when the Bulldogs open SEC play against No. 12 LSU.

The Bulldogs have been quite dominant in wins over Charleston Southern and Louisiana Tech, outscoring those two teams by a combined 106-21.
