Let there be light ... in downtown Greenwood.
The holiday festivities for the week will kick off at 5 p.m. Thursday with the 12th annual Lighting of the Courthouse ceremony.
The event is sponsored by Main Street Greenwood and the Leflore County Board of Supervisors.
