DeVante Wiley, center, approached Mayor Carolyn McAdams about a project that would help the Greenwood community, and the result was a community garden in his former neighborhood, Baptist Town. He enjoys working in the garden with members of the Baptist Town and Greenwood communities but particularly with young boys. Wiley stands with some of the youth he mentors at the garden, including, from left, Trey Foreman, Quadree Cork, Wiley, Kenderrick Foreman and Trayvion Whitaker.
