Marshal: GHS fire apparently arson

A nighttime fire that scorched the main office at Greenwood High School last week appears to have been arson, according to city Fire Marshal Terry Ricks.

The city is offering a $1,000 reward to anyone with information leading to the arrest or conviction of anyone responsible.

His position is partially funded by a two-year grant from Report for America, a national nonprofit. Generous supporters in the community donated the matching funds in the first year. We are now raising funds for Year 2.
