While recruiting industry is essential for a thriving community, the Mississippi Development Authority is equally concerned with keeping existing businesses around, MDA officials say.
"We want to keep them healthy, happy and hopefully growing," said Steve Hardin, a Greenwood native who directs MDA's regional services division.
