Coming into Greenwood's 300 Oaks Road Race, Kevin Wheeler was accustomed to being runner up. That's not the case anymore.
Wheeler, 33, a junior-college math instructor from Campbell, Mo., won the 10K run Saturday with a time of 35:11. His victory broke his three-year streak of second-place finishes back in the late 1990s.
