Leflore County's poor should not have trouble finding health care with Medicaid, says Dr. Alfio Rausa, the state's District 3 health officer.

In a region heavily supported by Medicaid, many doctors don't have a choice whether to accept the public health insurance for the poor and its counterpart for the elderly, Medicare.
