JACKSON - The state Court of Appeals on Tuesday upheld the conviction of Troy Carlisle, who was sentenced to 20 years in prison for manslaughter in the drowning death of a 7-year-old girl in Arkabutla Lake.
Carlisle was convicted in October 2000 in a case moved to Rankin County from DeSoto County.
