JACKSON - Mississippi Republican Party chairman Jim Herring believes the Nov. 5 election can propel his party to great gains in next year's statewide elections.
Herring's goals are to take back the governor's mansion, reach parity with Democrats in the Legislature and capture more statewide elective offices.
