JACKSON - The Mississippi Supreme Court has agreed to hear the appeal of an Illinois man convicted in 2001 for the stabbing death of a woman in Pike County.
Blaine Brooks of South Holland, Ill., was convicted in the May 13, 1999, killing of Mary Wilson. Authorities said the woman lived alone and was attacked in her home.
