JACKSON - Before cameras can be barred from Mississippi courtrooms, a judge must provide a detailed ruling on why he believes a defendant might be deprived of a fair trial, the state Supreme Court has ruled.
Without such specific findings, cameras cannot be barred, a 5-3 majority of the court ruled Thursday.
