VICKSBURG -Approximately 725,000 people live in Mississippi's 2nd Congressional District. On primary voting day, 56,174 of those old enough to vote went to polls and endorsed incumbent Bennie Thompson for another term in the U.S. House of Representatives.
That's 7.5 percent.
