VICKSBURG — It won't save money. It won't reduce staff. It won't, of itself, improve schools.
There's nothing magic about it.
That said, if Gov. Haley Barbour and others want to keep pressing ahead on the topic of consolidating smaller public school districts into larger public school districts, fine.
