Gubernatorial candidate John Arthur Eaves stressed that his Christian religion is a major influence on his life and politics at a Greenwood Voters League meeting Wednesday.
Eaves, a 40-year-old Democrat, is running against Republican incumbent Haley Barbour, whom he compared to the biblical figure Goliath.
