The Democratic campaign for the Leflore County District 5 supervisor's seat just got a little bit easier for the three remaining candidates.
On Thursday, candidate Betty Moore Cox said she was withdrawing from the race. That leaves Bobbie Peoples, Robert L. Collins and incumbent Larry "Kite" Johnson in a three-way contest on Aug. 7.
