JACKSON - The House and Senate have yet to begin negotiations on legislation to cover Medicaid's $268 million deficit, and it is unclear when talks will start.
House Speaker Billy McCoy, D-Rienzi, on Monday said his members were ready to begin work on a compromise, but the Senate had not named all its negotiators.
