Deer hunters getting their gear ready for gun season have had another thing to be concerned about.
More than 500 hunters showed up last week at a Pontotoc County meeting of the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks after chronic wasting disease (CWD) was discovered in a deer collected from that area in early October.
