A Beechcraft B23 Musketeer sits in a field July 4 after crashing about 50 yards from the grass airstrip owned by Walter Mitchell near Vaiden. Mitchell suffered the worst injuries among the four people aboard the plane with a broken right arm, fractured hand and fractured sinuses.
