Editor, Commonwealth:
Hello, world. Springtime is here once again, my favorite season of them all.
A kaleidoscope of brilliant colors is starting to burst forth, the colors of the rainbow. Flower beds will suddenly awaken, greeted by the golden sun. The songbirds will sing their melodies while butterflies glide in the air once again, Mother Nature’s superstars.
It took a long time for spring to come. Good riddance, Old Man Winter. Let’s all enjoy springtime.
T-shirts and short pants are coming out of the closet, and heavy winter clothes are being put away.
The green grass of home is starting to grow again. The hum of lawnmowers and the buzz of Weedeaters can be heard once again.
Soon hummingbird feeders will be hung, a delight to watch and see.
The seasons never stop, as I mark another calendar month, keeping up with time.
Again, spring is here, along with the golden sun. Life is supercharged.
