With spring comes April showers, blooming flowers and the new edition of Leflore Illustrated magazine.
The quarterly magazine will be included with the weekend edition of the Commonwealth for home-delivery subscribers.
Featured on the cover is watercolor artist Darryl Anderson. Anderson, an engineer’s technician with the Mississippi Department of Transportation, has one of his artistic homes in Greenwood.
Other stories in the 40-page magazine include:
- A feature on Dwight Harris, the owner of D&T Designs, who creates and rehabs intricately designed lamps and chandeliers.
- An interview with Hugh Warren IV, president of Trustmark National Bank and the president of the Greenwood-Leflore County Chamber of Commerce for 2023. Warren is the fourth of five men in his family to be named “Hugh,” and though there is not yet a sixth, he does have a grandson named Henry.
