J.Z. George dominates Leland to take third in 3-2A

The J.Z. George Lady Jaguars claimed the third seed from the Region 3-2A Tournament with a 46-22 win over Leland Friday in North Carrollton.
The Lady Jags will play at Velma Jackson at 6 p.m. Monday in the first round of the North 2A Tournament.

Greenwood boys take third place in Region 4-4A, girls take fourth

The Greenwood High School Bulldogs secured the No. 3 seed from Region 4-4A with a 57-51 win over Louisville Friday in the third/fourth place game of the tournament at Louisville High School.

The Leflore County High School boys basketball team brought home all the hardware Friday night at the Region 6-1A Tournament in Hollandale.
