Leflore County High School’s baseball team gave up eight runs in the top of the seventh inning in dropping a 14-6 Region 3-2A decision to North Side High School Tuesday in Itta Bena.

Prep Softball: Lady Bulldogs rout Coahoma

The Greenwood High School girls fast-pitch softball team scored 26 runs in the bottom of the first inning en route to a 26-9 win over visiting Coahoma County Tuesday at Whittington Park.
Coahoma tallied five runs in the first and four in the second. GHS outhit the Lady Red Panthers 10-5.
