Pillow Academy girls fastpitch head coach Joy Gleason guided the Lady Mustangs into the Class 4A Division II State Tournament in her fourth year. The Lady Mustangs finished with a 15-15-1 record.

Prep Roundup: Volleyball ends for 3 schools

The prep volleyball seasons for Greenwood High, Amanda Elzy and Leflore County all came to an end last Saturday during their respective state tournament playoff matches.
The Lady Bulldogs dropped a 3-1 decision to visiting Clarksdale High School in the Class 4A playoffs to finish their season at 12-5.
