English educator and instructional coach Areka Watkins' class at Amanda Elzy High School put on a Live Wax Museum on Friday. The production was in a highly decorated school hallway that touched on the historical periods of slavery, changes in civil and women's rights and voting, and the upcoming U.S. presidential election. There was a dance performance by senior Deysia Hicks that guided viewers through the time periods. The student production also included models of the current Greenwood Leflore Consolidated School Board.
