NOTICE OF SALE
WHEREAS, on November 23, 2009, Loretta Kaye Jackson and Taurean Tramayne Wise executed a Deed of Trust to Michael L. Riddle, as Trustee for FBT Mortgage, LLC, as Lender, with Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems, Inc., (“MERS”), as Beneficiary, which is recorded in the office of the Chancery Clerk of Leflore County, MS, in Book 0707 at Page 116;
WHEREAS, said Deed of Trust was assigned to Trustmark National Bank in Book 861 at Page 434;
WHEREAS, on March 29, 2019, Trustmark National Bank substituted James Eldred Renfroe as Trustee in the aforementioned deed of trust with this recorded in Book 861 at Page 436;
WHEREAS, there being a default in the terms and conditions of the Deed of Trust and entire debt secured having been declared to be due and payable in accordance with its terms, Trustmark National Bank, the holder of the debt has requested the Trustee to execute the trust and sell said land and property pursuant to its terms in order to raise the sums due, with attorney’s and trustee’s fees, and expenses of sale;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, James Eldred Renfroe, Trustee for said Deed of Trust, will on May 29, 2019, offer for sale at public outcry, and sell within legal hours (being between the hours of 11:00 a.m., and 4:00 p.m.) at the south main door of the Leflore County Courthouse in Greenwood, MS, to the highest and best bidder for cash, the following described property situated in Leflore County, MS, to-wit:
Lot 26, Blue Lake Addition No. 1, a subdivision according to a map or plat thereof which is on file and of record in the office of the Chancery Clerk of Leflore County, Mississippi, in Plat Book 5 at Page 39, reference to which is hereby made in aid of and as part of this description.

SPECIAL ELECTION
Notice is hereby given that pursuant to Section 23-15-857 of the Mississippi Code of 1972 as amended, the Board of Aldermen for the Town of Morgan City, Mississippi, on May 07, 2019, entered an order for a special election to be held in said town on Tuesday, June 25, 2019, to fill a vacancy in the office of Alderman for the Town of Morgan City.
The deadline for qualifying to run in said special election is 5:00 p.m. on May 28, 2019. Qualifying petitions may be obtained by contacting the Clerk for the Town of Morgan City at (662)254-0335.
