NOTICE OF INTENTION OF THE BOARD OF
SUPERVISORS OF
LEFLORE COUNTY,
MISSISSIPPI,
TO LEASE CERTAIN LANDS IN LEFLORE COUNTY FOR AGRICULTURAL PURPOSES
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors of Leflore County, Mississippi, will receive sealed bids for the leasing of all or portions of the following lands in Leflore County, Mississippi, for agricultural purposes for the crop years 2019, or 2019, 2020, and 2021 will lease said lands to the highest, best, and acceptable best bidder for cash. A bidder may bid on all of the land or on any of the tracts of the following properties:
DAVENPORT PROPERTY: 324.40 acres (more or less) located in Sectional Lots 1, 2, 8, 9, 10, and 11, Section 19, and in Sectional Lot 1, Section 30, and in the northwest quarter of Section 20, Township 19 North, Range 1 East, Leflore County, Mississippi. (Not excluding 6.55 acre and 14.04 acre fields on Yazoo River)

Rowland Property: 262.72 acres (more or less) located in Section 29 and in the west half of Section 28, Township 19 North, Range 1 East, Leflore County, Mississippi.

Maps of said properties are available for inspection at the Mapping Department at the Leflore County Courthouse. The said lands will be leased for one (1) year or for a three (3) year period beginning immediately with the crop year 2019 or 2019, 2020 and 2021, ending December 31, 2021.
All bids must be for and annual rental and shall be accompanied by either a cashier or personal check for the 2019 farm rental. The annual rent for 2020 must be paid on or before but not later than February 1, 2020. The annual rent for 2021 must be paid on or before, but not later than February 1, 2021.
The successful bidder will have seven (7) days after the bid acceptance to sign a contract with
Leflore County. Failure to sign this contract will void the bid. Bidders must submit sealed bids on bid forms obtainable from the office of the Chancery Clerk of Leflore County, Mississippi, and must comply with all the provisions of the bid form. No bids will be considered unless submitted on these bid forms. Bids are to be filed and received on or before but not later than Monday, April 8, 2019, at 3:00 p.m. in the office of the Chancery Clerk of Leflore County, Mississippi, at which date and time the bids will be presented to and opened by the Board of Supervisors.
All bids are to be sealed in a marked envelope and plainly marked “SEALED BID-LEASING OF LAND______ PROPERTY OPEN DURING THE MONDAY, APRIL 8, 2019 BOARD MEETING AT 4:00 P.M.”
No bid may be withdrawn after the same has been publicly opened for consideration.
The Board of Supervisors reserves the right to waive any and all informalities and irregularities. The right is reserved to reject any and all bids.

Letters of Administration for the Estate of Nettie Sue M. Brasel, Deceased, were issued by the Chancery Court of Leflore County, Mississippi in Cause No. 19-pr-20 on the 18th day of March, 2019, to the undersigned as the Co-Administrators of said estate. All persons having claims against said estate are hereby notified that they are required to have the same probated and registered by the Clerk of said Court within 90 days of the date of the first publication of this notice or they will be forever barred.
