WHEREAS, by Deed of Trust dated September 12, 2016, and recorded in the office of the Clerk of the Chancery Court in Leflore County, Mississippi, on September 12, 2016, in Book 818 at Page 399 of the Records of Mortgages and Deeds of Trust on Land in said county and state, Brandon Peacock did grant and convey unto W. Dean Belk, as Trustee for Planters Bank & Trust Company, beneficiary, the property therein described, to secure the promissory note therein referred to; and
WHEREAS, the undersigned having been duly appointed Substitute Trustee in the place and stead of W. Dean Belk, Trustee in said Deed of Trust, by instrument dated February 3, 2020, and recorded February 7, 2020, in Book 874, Page 512 of the Records of Mortgages and Deeds of Trust on Land in Leflore County, Mississippi, said Substitution of Trustee having been actually spread at large upon the said records before the publishing of the foreclosure notice; and
WHEREAS, default having been made in the payment of the indebtedness secured by said Deed of Trust, and the entire indebtedness having been declared due and payable, and having been requested by the owner of said indebtedness and Deed of Trust so to do, I, RICHARD A. OAKES, as Substitute Trustee, as aforementioned, will on Friday, March 13, 2020, between the hours of 11:00 o'clock A.M. and 4:00 o'clock P.M. being the legal hours of sale, offer for sale at public auction for cash to the highest and best bidder at the South front door of the Leflore County Courthouse in the City of Greenwood, Leflore County, Mississippi, the following described property conveyed by said Deed of Trust, lying and being situate in Leflore County, Mississippi, to-wit:
The following described lot of land situated at the Northern boundary line of Section 2, Township 21 North, Range 2 West, in Leflore County, Mississippi, measuring 200' E & W and 300' N & S, between parallel lines, particularly described as follows:
The Point of Beginning is the Northwest corner of the NE¼ of the NW¼ of said Section 2 and is located in the center of the county public road (formerly Minter City, Southern & Western Railroad Co. Right of way) at such point: From said POB run thence East along the Northern boundary line of said Section 2 the distance of 969' to a pin designating the NW corner of the lot being described; thence continue East along the Northern boundary line of said Section 2 the distance of 200' to a pin in said Section line designating the NE corner of said lot; run thence South 300' to a pin designating the SE corner of said lot; run thence West 200' and parallel to the North boundary line of said Section to a pin designating the SW corner of said lot; run thence North 300' to the pin aforesaid designating the NW corner of said lot.
The sale of said property will be subject to all taxes which are a lien on the said property, to any state of facts an accurate survey of said premises would reveal, and to all recorded restrictions, easements, and mineral conveyances of record.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the LEFLORE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS will hold a Special Meeting on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at 5:30 p.m. at the Greenwood Leflore Hospital. The meeting will be held in conjunction with the Greenwood City Council and the Greenwood Leflore Hospital Board for the purpose of discussing the Stroudwater Proposal Report on the Greenwood Leflore Hospital.
