WHEREAS, on February 3, 2000, DARRELL SHELLY AND MARY BROOKS SHELLY executed a Deed of Trust to RICHARD A. OAKES, Trustee for the benefit of ALEXANDER JOHN MALOUF, III and KIRK KIMES d/b/a S & K PROPERTIES, which Deed of Trust is recorded in Book 598, Page 270 of the Records of Mortgages and Deeds of Trust on Land in Leflore County, Mississippi;
WHEREAS, default having been made in the payment of the indebtedness secured by said Deed of Trust, and the entire indebtedness having been declared due and payable, and having been requested by the owner of said indebtedness and Deed of Trust so to do, I, RICHARD A. OAKES, as Trustee, as aforementioned, will on Friday, July 27, 2018, between the hours of 11:00 o'clock A.M. and 4:00 o'clock P.M. being the legal hours of sale, offer for sale at public auction for cash to the highest and best bidder at the South front door of the Leflore County Courthouse in the City of Greenwood, Leflore County, Mississippi, the following described property conveyed by said Deed of Trust, situated in the City of Greenwood, Leflore County, Mississippi, to-wit:
A 0.20 acre tract of land located in Block 3 of the Douglas Part Subdivision to the City of Greenwood, Leflore County, Mississippi, as a plat of said Subdivision is recorded in Deed Book 26 on Page 179 in the records on file in the office of the Chancery Clerk of Leflore County, Mississippi and being more particularly described as follows, to-wit:
Begin at a 1/2" iron pipe located at the intersection of the Northern boundary of the alley running predominantly Northeast and Southwest in Block 3 of the Douglas Part Subdivision and the Western boundary of the right-of-way of George Street proceed North 14 degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds West along the Western boundary of the right-of-way of said George Street for a distance of 96.28 feet to a 1/2" iron pipe, said iron pipe marks the point of beginning of the tract of land herein described; from said point of beginning continue North 14 degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds West along the Western boundary of the right-of-way of George Street for a distance of 60.86 feet to a 1/2" iron pipe; thence proceed South 76 degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds West for a distance of 143.67 feet to a 1/2" iron pipe on a fence; thence proceed South 14 degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds East along said fence for a distance of 60.86 feet to a 1/2” iron pipe; thence proceed North 76 degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds East for a distance of 143.67 feet to the point of beginning.
The sale of said property will be subject to all taxes which are a lien on the said property, to any state of facts an accurate survey of said premises would reveal, and to all recorded restrictions, easements, and mineral conveyances of record.
With said exceptions, the title to the above described property is believed to be good, but as Trustee, I will convey only such title as is vested in me as Trustee.

2 AND 3
The election for the Greenwood-Leflore School District Board of Education for Districts 2 and 3 will be on the 2018 General Election Ballot. The qualifying period for the School Board starts Wednesday, August 8, 2018 and the deadline to qualify is 5:00 p.m. Friday, September 7, 2018.
In order to qualify as a candidate for the Greenwood-Leflore School District Board for Districts 2 and 3, you must be a bona fide resident and qualified elector (registered voter) of the district in which election is sought, and have a high school diploma or its equivalent. Miss. Const. of 1890, Art. XII, §250; Miss. Code Ann. §§ 37-7-201, 37-7-306.
Candidates for the Greenwood-Leflore School District Board of Education for Districts 2 and 3 must complete: 1) Qualifying Statement of Intent, and 2) Petition signed by not less than fifty (50) qualified electors (registered voters) of the district from which election is sought, certified by the Circuit Clerk’s Office of the county from which the signatures were collected, 3) Filed with the Circuit Clerk’s Office, 4) No earlier than Wednesday, August 8, 2018 nor later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, September 7, 2018.
Once you have qualified with the Circuit Clerk you must file a Statement of Economic Interest with the Ethics Commission within 15 days of qualifying.
