NOTICE OF SUBSTITUTED TRUSTEE’S SALE
WHEREAS, on January 10, 2003, LARRY J. MYERS and wife, PAM MYERS executed a Deed of Trust under the terms of which the hereinafter described land was conveyed to STATE BANK & TRUST COMPANY to secure payment of an indebtedness therein described, which said Deed of Trust was filed for record on January 13, 2003 and recorded in Book 576, Page 504, in the office of the Chancery Clerk of Leflore County, Mississippi. Said Trustee was subsequently replaced by Boyd P. Atkinson by virtue of the authority of the instrument dated December 9, 2019, filed for record on December 13, 2019 and appearing of record in Book 0872, Page 149 in the office of the Clerk aforesaid.
WHEREAS, default has been made in the performance of the conditions of said trust deeds, and STATE BANK & TRUST COMPANY, the holder thereof, has declared the entire indebtedness secured thereby due and has requested the undersigned to sell said land as provided by said trust deeds.
THEREFORE, the undersigned will, on the 24th day of January, A.D., 2020, offer for sale and will sell at public auction for cash to the highest and best bidder at the main front door of the courthouse of Leflore County, in Greenwood, Mississippi, during legal hours (being the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.), the following described property situated in Leflore County, Mississippi, to-wit:
Lot 12 of the Slatten Addition to the City of Greenwood, Leflore County, Mississippi as shown by map recorded in Book 6, Page 70 of the Records of Maps of Leflore County, Mississippi.
