SUBSTITUTE TRUSTEE’S NOTICE OF SALE
WHEREAS, on December 29, 2010, Chandra Sutherland Bonner, a single person, executed a deed of trust for the benefit of Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems, Inc., as nominee for FBT Mortgage, LLC, its successors and assigns, which deed of trust was recorded on January 4, 2011, in Book 722, Page 48, in the office of the Chancery Clerk of Leflore County, Mississippi; and
WHEREAS, the aforementioned Deed of Trust was assigned by Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems, Inc., as nominee for FBT Mortgage LLC, its successors and assigns, to JPMorgan Chase Bank, National Association, by instrument dated August 30, 2017, and recorded on September 19, 2017, in Book 835, Page 275 of the records of the aforesaid Chancery Clerk; and
WHEREAS, JPMorgan Chase Bank, National Association, the holder of the deed of trust, substituted either James L. DeLoach or David E. Flautt as Trustee, as authorized by the terms thereof, by instrument recorded on November 9, 2017, and spread at large upon the records in the office of the aforesaid Chancery Clerk in Book 0837, Page 568, prior to the posting and publication of this notice; and
WHEREAS, default having been made in the terms and conditions of the deed of trust, and the entire debt secured thereby having been declared to be due and payable in accordance with the terms of the deed of trust, and the legal holder of said indebtedness, JPMorgan Chase Bank, National Association, has requested the undersigned Substitute Trustee to execute the trust and sell said land, property and improvements in accordance with the terms of the deed of trust for the purpose of raising the sums due thereunder, together with attorney’s fees, Substitute Trustee’s fees and expenses of sale;
THEREFORE, on January 29, 2018, the undersigned Substitute Trustee in the deed of trust, will offer for sale at public outcry and sell to the highest bidder for cash, within legal hours (being between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.) at the South steps of the Leflore County Courthouse in Greenwood, Mississippi, the following described land, property and improvements lying and being situate in Leflore County, Mississippi, to-wit:
Land situated in Leflore County, Mississippi, further described as follows, to-wit: Lot 29 of the Country Club addition in Leflore County, Mississippi, as shown by map thereof recorded in Book 5, Page 38 of the Records of Maps of said county and state.
I WILL CONVEY only such title as is vested in me as Substitute Trustee.

PUBLIC NOTICE OF INTENT TO APPLY
All interested public and private transit and paratransit operators within Carroll, Grenada, Leflore, Holmes, Humphreys, Sunflower, Tallahatchie and Washington counties are hereby advised that Mississippi Valley State University is applying to the Mississippi Department of Transportation, Public Transportation Division, Jackson, Mississippi, for a grant under 49 U.S.C. 5311 of the Safe, Accountable, Flexible, Efficient Transportation Equity Act – A Legacy for Users (SAFETEA-LU), Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21st Century (MAP-21) and and Fixing America’s Surface Transportation (FAST) Act, for the provision of public transportation services. Service (is being) (would be) operated within the following counties Carroll, Grenada, Leflore, Holmes, Humphreys, Sunflower, Tallahatchie and Washington counties. This program consists of elderly, disabled low income area residents. The purpose of this notice is to advise all interested transit and paratransit operators of the proposed services for the general public within the area (as) described above, and to insure that such a project would not represent a duplication of current or of proposed services provided by existing transit or paratransit operators in the area.
Comments either for or against this service by such public, private, and paratransit operators will be received at any time within 15 days from the date of this notice. PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
RURAL AREA PROGRAM
The Mississippi Valley State University Mass Transit Program of Itta Bena, Mississippi, is considering applying to the Mississippi Department of Transportation, Public Transportation Division, for assistance through its Rural Area Program to provide public transportation services within the following counties; Carroll, Grenada, Holmes, Humphreys, Leflore, Sunflower, Tallahatchie and Washington. Funding is available to state agencies, local public bodies and agencies thereof, non-profit organizations, operators of public transportation services in locations other than urbanized Area, and, under special circumstances, private operators of public transportation on a competitive basis to undertake eligible transportation activities.
The goals of the Rural Area Program are: to enhance the access of people in non-urbanized Area to health care, shopping, education, employment, public services and recreation; to assist in the maintenance, development, improvement, and use of public transportation systems in rural and small urban Area; to encourage and facilitate the most efficient use of all Federal funds used to provide passenger transportation in non-urbanized Area through the coordination of programs and services; and to provide for the participation of private transportation providers in non-urbanized transportation to the maximum extent feasible.
The purposes for which these funds can be used are capital purchases that include such items as support vehicles, communication equipment, wheelchair lifts, etc.; administrative costs that include such items as salaries, office supplies, insurance, etc.; and operating expenses that include such items as driver's wages, fuel, oil, etc. More specific details regarding eligible activities, program requirements and the program criteria will be provided at a public hearing which will be held at MVSU Mass Transit Conference Room - Annex I; 14000 Hwy 82 West; Itta Bena, MS, on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at 6:00 p.m..

The purpose of this hearing will be to obtain citizen input into the development of the application.
