The City Council of Greenwood, Mississippi requests your bid for the purchase of surplus personal property located outside of the building at 1100 Sycamore Street, in the Greenwood Leflore Industrial Park. Said personal property consists of metal racks.
Sealed bids must be clearly marked on the outside of envelope as indicated: “Metal Racks”. Sealed bids may be hand delivered to the office of the City Clerk in City Hall, 101 West Church Street, Greenwood, Mississippi 38930. They will be received until November 26, 2025 and taken under advisement.

SUBSTITUTED TRUSTEE’S FORECLOSURE NOTICE
WHEREAS, on March 20, 2017, Edna G. Brown, Troy Brown and Curressia Brown, executed a certain Deed of Trust to Mark S. Vemer, for the benefit of Bank of Commerce, which Deed of Trust is of record in the office of the Chancery Clerk of Leflore County, Mississippi in Deed of Trust Book 827 at page 298; and
WHEREAS, Bank of Commerce has heretofore substituted Charles J. Swayze III as Trustee in place and in lieu of the present Trustee by instrument recorded on October 24, 2025, in Book 2025 at page 7487 in the office of the aforesaid Chancery Clerk; and
WHEREAS, default having been made in the terms and conditions of said Deed of Trust and the entire debt secured thereby having been declared to be due in accordance with the terms thereof, Bank of Commerce, the legal holder of said indebtedness requested the undersigned Substituted Trustee to execute the trust and sell said land and property in accordance with the terms of said Deed of Trust for the purpose of raising the sums due thereunder, together with attorney’s fees, trustee’s fees, and expenses of sale.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Charles J. Swayze III, Substituted Trustee in said Deed of Trust, will on the 18th day of December, 2025, between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. offer for sale and sell at public auction for cash to the highest and best bidder at the South front door of the Leflore County Courthouse in the City of Greenwood, Mississippi, the following described property conveyed by said Deed of Trust, to-wit:

Commence at the Northeast corner of said Section 23 and run thence South and along the Eastern boundary line of said Section 23 for the distance of 114 feet to the point where the said Eastern boundary line of Section 23 is intersected by the center line, as now located and occupied of the flood protection levee of the
United States of America as said levee and levee right-of way is described in judgment on declaration of taking of the United States of America versus the Country Club Realty Company, Tract No. 10, recorded in Deed Book 92 at Page 140 of the Land Deed Records of said Leflore County; run thence North 89 degrees 33 minutes West and along the center line of said levee for the distance of 898.7 feet to a point where said center line of the levee is intersected by the Eastern boundary line of the right-of-way of that certain public road known as Humphreys Highway as said highway is now located and occupied; run thence South 18 degrees 13 minutes East and along the said Eastern boundary line of the right-of-way of Humphreys Highway for the distance of 148.0 feet to a point where the said Eastern boundary line of the right-of-way of Humphreys Highway is intersected by the Southern boundary line of the right-of-way of the said levee of the United States of America; run thence South 18 degrees 13 minutes East and along the said Eastern boundary line of the right-of-way of Humphreys Highway for the distance of 208.7 feet to a point which is the point of beginning of the 3.7 acre tract of land herein described; from said point of beginning, run thence South 18 degrees 13 minutes East and along the said Eastern boundary of the right-of- way of Humphreys Highway for the distance of 208.0 feet to a point; run thence North 75 degrees 36 minutes East for the distance of 741.5 feet to a point on the Eastern boundary of said Section 23; run thence Northerly and along the Eastern boundary of said Section 23 for the distance of 215 feet to a point where the Eastern boundary line of said Section 23 intersects the Southern boundary of the said flood protection levee of the United States of America referred to above; run thence South 75 degrees 36 minutes West for the distance of 811.4 feet to the point of beginning.
I will sell and convey only such title as is vested in me as Substituted Trustee.
