Greenwood should comply with the demand of the American Civil Liberties Union to either shelve or severely pare down its ordinance that restricts panhandlers.
This is not a fight worth having.
Panhandling is a minor nuisance in this city. Moreover, the odds are stacked against Greenwood prevailing in a court contest.
