A year ago there was Flippy, the machine being tested to cook hamburgers in fast-food restaurants. Now there is Harv, another machine that faces an even bigger challenge.
Harv is a mechanical farm picker, with the specific assignment of safely gathering foods that bruise or are easily crushed — such as strawberries, grapes and apples.
