Guenther letter
In reference to Clint Guenther’s letter to the editor (“Democrats have gone off the deep end,” Oct. 9):
We should be afraid of people such as Mr. Guenther who are eager to put their thoughts in an open letter and think that their views are true. We, as a people, better start looking at who is running our country, who lives next door to us and who our bosses are in these times.
If Mr. Guenther can freely make the comments he made in the letter and go to work the next day and face people who do not have a warped view, we had better watch out.
It would be nice to know Mr. Guenther’s background and what he does for a profession. I want to make sure I never run into him because I might not be able to hold my tongue due to his stupidity and audacity to feel free to state that it is OK for a sitting president to ask a foreign country to investigate his opponent.
In his letter, he said “the liberal Democratic left has lost its collective mind,” but in essence it is he who has lost his collective mind.

Spoken like a good SS trooper.

Social Security office
Oh, no, please tell me it’s not so. The Social Security office is remodeling. The waiting room is smaller, but you say you are not putting a bathroom in for the people who must go.
I don’t understand this. If you don’t put in one, it is not right at all.
There needs to be a public bathroom there. Point blank, we need a bathroom.
Editor’s note: It’s not so. According to Bret Freeman, district manager of the Social Security office, there will be two public restrooms once the construction is finished.
