Election complaints
Regarding the article “Actions at polls spur complaints” (May 7):
People, that goes to show why we need Sheriel Perkins back as mayor of Greenwood. Carolyn McAdams has to be corrected almost every week. Disgraceful.
Also, I’m curious about this. The article states that Lee Abraham supports and backs Democrats. Why is he always against our prominent Democrats in this area? Democrat? Sure.
Thank God that we have Willie Perkins in this community.

Nobody in South Greenwood was challenged when they went to vote Tuesday. Does that mean all African-Americans are Democrats?

Regarding the Mississippi Supreme Court’s decision Tuesday to halt the execution of Willie Manning:
No problem for me. It will just give him more time to think about his future, which is nothing.
