Regarding the article “County kills Confederate holiday” (July 7):
Closing for Martin Luther King Jr. Day but not Confederate Memorial Day. Hmmm, that’s nice.
Martin Luther King had a dream. Confederate soldiers made it possible.
Come on, people, use your brains. And why now? Because you can’t use your own brain to come up with lame ideas, you have to jump on the bandwagon with the other stupids.
It’s not a racist holiday, you morons. Read your history. All of it!
