Regarding the article “Judge blocks Turner execution” (Feb. 7):
Hart Turner is as guilty as any serial killer in jail and out. Hart should meet his demise.
At least his has been planned out, and he knows what date he would or should die. He didn’t give those two men that choice.

This man is a danger to anyone who comes in contact with him, and the system knows this. It is like turning a mad dog loose.
He is where he needs to be — on death row.

If Hart Turner is mentally ill, as his aunt says, then how does she feel that he should mentor children? That would mean he is smart enough to know what he did.
His aunt is saying that he is dumb and smart. Give me a break.
He very well knows what he has done.
I’m tired of the mental-case bit.

Shooting songbirds
It will soon be springtime, and some kids have started shooting songbirds again.
Do these kids know these birds are protected by state and federal laws?
Do the parents or grandparents know that this carries a fine of $100 per bird, or that this fine goes up for each violation?
Or could it be these fools don’t care or are ignorant of the law?
